The most recent cyber rules from the Ministry Of Information Technology to tighten the Cyber Security in Prepaid Payment Instruments or PPIs, could pose a threat to the E-Wallet industry. The ministry has asked all E-Wallet players to incorporate multi-level authentication in every wallet payment transaction, which as per the PPI industry heads could be a potential threat.  According to the industry sources, the multi-layer authentication will be a possible hurdle to all the E-Wallet instant payment schemes. Autofill options of various browsers including plugins and utility apps such as Last Pass could be innocent schemers in phishing attacks that feed on user details. Viljami Kuosmanen, a Finnish web developer, recently found out that when the user enters personal details like the email address, the user name and so on, on a webpage, the autofill, which should be essentially be making the task easier for the users by fil ling in the other profile based information boxes could be easily filling in other unobtrusive boxes too at the same time.  The autofill option of Google chrome stores all personal details of the user such as email address, phone numbers, credit card info, company details and much more by default and these information are completely prone to phisher attacks. The best way to get out of this lethal threat is to disable the autofill option available on the browser that the user uses.
